Justin and Katrina, the heart behind JK Acres, are late to farming, starting this journey in our 40's as first generation farmers with our blended family of five. What began as a dream to live closer to the land has grown into a passion for raising animals with care and producing meat we’re proud to serve. From learning the ropes as first-generation farmers to building a sustainable farm from scratch, we’re driven by a vision to create food that’s safe, delicious, and good for the planet.

Our Farming Practices

At JK Acres, we farm with care for the land, animals, and you. Our cornerstone practice is rotational grazing, where we move our animals regularly to fresh pastures. This method mimics natural herd movements, allowing grasses to recover, boosting soil health with natural fertilization, and sequestering carbon to support a healthier planet. Looking to start or expand your own farm? JK Acres offers live quail chicks, baby rabbits, piglets, and lambs, all raised with the same care we give our meat and egg animals. Our quail chicks and baby rabbits are perfect for homesteaders or pet owners, while our piglets and lambs are ideal for those raising livestock for meat or breeding.
